Yoga fierce: Yoga at the Baltimore Inner Harbor FREE!

Surfing the Internet I stumbled on a great summer treat! It is healthy and fun! It is summer yoga!
May 14th, Charm City Yoga at 9pm will be teaching yoga at West Shore Park at the Inner Harbor! It gets better. The lesson is free and at 9am the fabulous yoga instructor Camille Moses-Allen will be teaching! Click here for more info! Yoga sessions will be throughout summer!

Menstrual cramp blues: 3 exercises that reduce menstrual cramps!

Ever get unbearable cramps during your period? Me too! But, no matter period or no period, the world keeps turning. You do not want,nor can you lie in a fetal position, for 4 to 7 days! Here are a few tricks I use to fight bad cramps!
1. Walk.
Try walking for at least 45 minutes. It can ease cramps and lighten your period! You can also try aerobic exercise such as running!
2. Use yoga positions.
You lie on your back and bend your knees. Pull your knees to your chest. Hold this position for 5 seconds. Repeat this procedure for 5 sets. Or simply do 30 minutes of yoga!
As for bloating, drink plenty of water and use a heating pad on your abdomen area.
