Yoga fierce: Yoga at the Baltimore Inner Harbor FREE!

Surfing the Internet I stumbled on a great summer treat! It is healthy and fun! It is summer yoga!
May 14th, Charm City Yoga at 9pm will be teaching yoga at West Shore Park at the Inner Harbor! It gets better. The lesson is free and at 9am the fabulous yoga instructor Camille Moses-Allen will be teaching! Click here for more info! Yoga sessions will be throughout summer!

Backpack Swag: The adventures of Dora the explorer day!

Like adventures and wearing little backpacks made for children? Then, you should have celebrated Dora the Explorer Day last Saturday, August 14th! 30 states and cities celebrated the lovable Spanish and English speaking Nickelodeon character Dora, including me! She gives Latina chicks a good name!
I love Dora the explorer because she promotes inclusion and cooperation! Last weekend was her ten year anniversary for the promotion of exploration and education!
For my Dora the Explorer Day, I went water rafting and hiking in the woods with some friends and my brother! I had a blast and some comical relief. I also tried out coconut water.
Coconut water is good for you but it is a bit too sweet for my liking! However, it will keep you hydrated and helps eliminate aches and pains! Try it some time!
Laughing and working out are rumored to extend your potential to live a healthy and happy lifestyle! I highly recommend it! Make every day a Dora the explorer exploration day! It is worth the time and effort!

The answer to avoiding the crash is to look to nature. Yes, it sounds very hippie-like,but we are serious! Fruits are life savers!

Spinach-chicken salad!
Fromgirltogirl loves to support tasty but healthy recipes! Try this one we just made on the SUPER STORM of 2010!
Ingredients:
1 jar of diced garlic or fresh garlic.
1 package of fresh or frozen spinach.
seasoning of choice.
1 package of shredded .
1 package of chicken.
1 jar of mayo.
sour cream.
Directions:
Boil chicken in water with some seasoning for 35-40 mins.
cook spinach( add garlic and cheese during last couple of minutes of cooking).
After chicken cooks, cut up chicken and place in bowl.
Put mayo and seasoning on chicken.
Add spinach to the mix!
Eat with bread or crackers!

We saw the best new year's advice. You know it came from Dr.Oz! He is must see tv! You can never go wrong with fun and informative facts! Dr Oz's New Year's resolutions for 2010:Have more sex, Get more sleep & eat frequent meals/snacks. We can't beat that! We think this is definitely a resolution to not break!
