Bree's Yogurt chips and Granola scones.
By Briana Booker
Here are some healthy treats I made last night! Thought i should share the recipe! Yogurt chips and Granola give so much flavor to it! Fluffy and light texture! They are definitely a party must have! Hope you enjoy!
Recipe
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 cup white sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
5 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 cup of Granola and Yogurt Chips
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup sour cream
1 egg
1 tablespoon milk
1. Preheat the oven at 350 degree.
2. Mix ingredients( flour, milk, sour cream...everything but the egg). together but do not, I repeat, do not over work the dough! We want fluffy scones!
3. Flour your hands and make balls of dough! Place them on a greased baking sheet!
4. Once on baking sheet, lightly flatten.
5. Whisk together the egg and 1 tablespoon of milk.
6. Bush egg mixture on scones. Rest for 10 minutes.
7. Bake for 10 to 20 minutes( or look until Golden brown). You have cooked them too much if deep golden brown.
8. Slice each scone in half, if you want to put spread on them!
You should have fierce scones! Enjoy!
