W.T.F moments: BET AWARDS

It's official. BET Awards does try to improve itself over the years,but it still has much work to do. Note, when you are a minority you do not just represent yourself but your ethnicity,unfortunately. I watched the BET Awards because I knew it was going to be wacky. I needed a chuckle. The show definitely provided that.

Here are just a few,W.T.F moments I saw last night:

1. Alicia Keys pregnant on a piano! All I could think about was please do not let her fall. We get you are pregnant, you do not have to try to be superwoman(you already are a superwoman)! You are talented. I am not sure of your morals,but I do love your music. Keys really represented pregnant women well last night, as well as "the other woman". Prince really got a hard on during his tribute!

  2. Panties in the air! Wow. Just wow. BET keeps it classy!

3. Beyonce and Jay-Z not being there. It defines this show for itself...not worth coming to the event.

W.T.F Moments: Alvin Greene runs for South Carolina Senate...how?

What the hell is with this country? How did Alvin Greene, an unemployed veteran, win the primary and become a democratic senate nominee in South Carolina? I am not sure how he surpassed $10,400 filing fee to be a nominee but it is notable.  If he had that money why was he able to obtain an indigent attorney? Is this a joke?

Greene is stuttering through an interview on Youtube  and to be honest this embarrasses Black people. If you are going to run for something, be educated on the matters at hand. And present one's self strongly in verbal communication. He is no Obama. But, I wish the guy the best of luck if he can pull this off! Who knows, he might be a 50 cent, go from unemployment to riches!

"Wow... WTF" moments: White Teacher says 'Nigga sit down.' In the classroom.

Now, I have heard and been called a 'nigga' quite a few times in my life. Some by family, friends  classmates, homeless people but never by a teacher. I am actually laughing about this video! The world is crazy. You would think a honors English teacher would not call a student in his class a nigga.  I mean Shakespeare used more eloquent words than that! Jeez.

I do not care what race you are...black, white, green, purple, yellow, red, pink, orange, or blue, this is a good laugh out loud moment! The best part is that this guy STILL has his job( he tried using posters to justify his actions)!

For those who do not know, some Black people, not all black people, call each other nigga because they are showing that a word does not define who they are as people. A word that was used to demean us, does not have that power to do that anymore. To be honest, Black people need to learn to work together. It is a disgrace when you are your largest barrier to success. Think about it.

If you succeed, help your community succeed. I give mad props to the Irish and Jewish community. They definitely learned to work with one another, after historical events gave them no other option. Remember, there is no I in team. Get it together people. Oh, and check out the video!
