Being a college student studying for midterms, I quickly get hungry. So, I looked in my cabinet for food. I instantly saw a box of Hungry Jack Pancake mix. I was honestly too lazy to go through the task of making pancakes, but on the package I saw quick recipes for biscuits on the box! Hungry Jack biscuits sounded great! I visited the http://www.hungryjack.com/ website! I discovered they have so many splendid recipes for breakfast, main dishes, desserts and side dishes! I had to try!
So I decided to take my chances with Hungry Jack biscuits to be safe. I did the cheddar and garlic biscuits- quick, tasty, and healthy! Done in less than 10 minutes and took me less than 2 minutes to prep! Can not beat that! So good! Here is the direct recipe below,but can make substitutes to ingredients! Enjoy! :

Ingredients:
• | Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray |
• | 1/2 cup sour cream |
• | 1 tablespoon water |
• | 1 cup Hungry Jack® Buttermilk Complete Pancake & Waffle Mix (Just Add Water) |
• | 2 tablespoons butter, melted |
• | Paprika |
Preparation Directions:
1. | HEAT oven to 400°F. Spray cookie sheet with no-stick cooking spray. |
2. | MIX sour cream and water in medium bowl until well combined. Add pancake mix. Stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto prepared cookie sheet, making 8 biscuits. |
3. | BAKE 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly browned. Brush with melted butter; sprinkle with paprika. Serve warm. |
VARIATION | |
1. | CHEDDAR GARLIC BISCUITS: ADD 2/3 cup shredded Cheddar cheese and 1 teaspoon minced garlic to dough before baking. |
High Altitude (above 3,500 ft.): | |
1. | BAKE at 425°F for 8 to 12 minutes. |
