Morals of the week: Respect is given where respect is held.

By Briana Booker

I am a firm believer that respect is given where respect is held. If you do not know how to treat someone or act respectful to the person, then you should carry your own weight and not be petty if the person does not want to help you. Cruel and rotten people do not deserve to be treated with respect.

Do not be rude to the people that have helped you, especially if you are the one with your hands constantly out for something always from them.

You are measured more for actions than words. And no,  reading a Bible does not make you a better person than a person that does not read one. I am going to respect the person that  displays genuine kindness and respect to others than one that does not. And I am definitely not given respect to a person that implies he or she reads a Bible but does not live by the word.

That's my advice for the weekend! Happy weekend! Keep smiling and treating others with respect that treat you well!
