Filipinos do it better: Chicken Macaroni Salad!

Yes, the Filipino culture has a variety of foods and drinks that will make any food lover taste buds dance! At Fromgirltogirl we recommend trying out  this recipe  from ! It is healthy and tasty! What is there not to like? It only takes a hour in preparation to make one or more people happy! Check out more great recipes at !

The recipe is as followed:


kilo macaroni noodles
to 3 pieces, medium sized carrots
big chicken breast
ml of mayonnaise
can (836 g) pineapple chunks or tidbits
big white onion, finely chopped
cup sweet pickle relish
hardboiled eggs, diced
cup diced cheddar cheese
cup raisins
salt and pepper to taste


Cook macaroni noodles according to package cooking instructions.
In a pot, boil carrots in water for 15 to 20 minutes or until cooked.
Drain carrots and let cool. Peal skin then dice.
Boil chicken breast in water with salt. Drain chicken breast, then shred in 1 inch lengths
Drain pineapple chunks or tidbits.
Combine all ingredients while adding salt and pepper, to taste.
Refrigerate, then serve.
