Here at Fromgirltogirl we have always been huge fans of Erykah
Badu!
This is a great music video with a
great message! We especially love the ending where she states:
A chance to fly. A chance to cry. They play it safe. Quick to assassinate what they do not understand. They move in packs adjusting more and more to fear for every act to hate one another. They feel most comfortable in groups, less guilt to swallow. They are us. This is what we have become. Afraid to respect an individual. A single person under circumstance can move onto change. To love herself. To evolve.
She sings so much truth in her lyrics!
We take her advice fully!
So do not forget to keep your head
held high when facing your adversaries!
What does not kill you,can only make
you stronger. Never let anyone take away your self worth. Yes, it is
easier said than done,but possible. Lessons learned can only bring
growth!
